Ah, I'm back

Had to take a breather from blogging. I just haven't had the time...

Updates:
Taryn is here for the summer. She should be here until the end of July. What a change in our lives! I now have to worry about "kid stuff" and doing things besides just working and going to school.

I am in school this summer taking two classes.

Work has been super busy. I don't have to time to do anything at work...except work. What a concept.

Otherwise, everything is normal. Tom and I will be celebrating one year of wedded bliss on June 25th. It doesn't seem like a year has past. For as busy as I am now, at least I can be happy that I'm not planning a wedding on top of it all like last year. I haven't had much "social" time lately. I miss my friends.

Yes it is. I will certainly call you. My step-daughter is a beach bum, so she will enjoy going too. Then, I will have company. :)

hi there!

I think you'd be an awesome step mom. Not at all like that scary woman in Cinderella with the skeleton key. That woman needed laid for sure.

Stacy Cane said...

hope you and Tom had a happy one!

Happy, Happy Anniversary!

You are no longer back.

Stacy Cane said...

yeah, not really.

Mr. Bebout said...

Not at all.

Stacy Cane said...

So how are you, Mr. B?

Mr. Bebout said...

I am doing OK. And how are you?

Stacy Cane said...

I feel good. Like James Brown.

Mr. Bebout said...

James Brown in Blues Brothers, Rocky IV, Blues Brothers 2000, or The Tuxedo?

Stacy Cane said...

Rocky IV. Right before Apollo Creed went down like Abe Lincoln.

Mr. Bebout said...

Abe held out for a few hours. Creed was done before he hit the deck.

Stacy Cane said...

yeah, there was a flash of light or something. You knew that Creed took a fatal blow. That and the convulsing after he hit the mat.

Mr. Bebout said...

Yeah that was a good death seen for Carl Weathers but it pales in comparison to he arms chopped of death in Preditor.

I like the Rocky with his real life son in it, because his son is handsome and Italian

I like the Rocky that comes with a moose and hilarity ensues.
The funny part is that this Rocky is a squirrel and the moose is called Bullwinkle.
What fun, what mirth.

I like the Rocky that goes with River ... I seem to be spending more time there these days.

I don't think I've ever tried Rocky Road ice cream...or Moosetracks, because who wants to think about eating poo while trying to enjoy a cone?

Stacy Cane said...

I prefer cookies and cream ice cream or cookie dough ice cream, over rocky road.

The other day I was at Mitchell's in Rocky River with my favorite west sider -- and I ordered a sundae with cookies and cream ice cream with peanut butter topping and pecans. But when I got the sundae, instead of pecans I got peanuts, and instead of cookies and cream ice cream, I got cookie dough ice cream. While the kid who made my sundae botched my order, happily it was still perfectly good, and suprisingly, I ate it without complaint.

Although if he had put anything other than peanut butter topping on the sundae, it would have gone straight back. Peanut butter topping is my favorite topping, even over hot fudge.

Mr. Bebout said...

I never get a sundae as I am usually driving and it is hard to eat while doing so.

Stacy Cane said...

Usually I am driving too. But since I was not driving this one time, I indulged with a sundae. It was mighty nice.

Thanks for keeping the comments going. I hadn't read them for awhile and this was too funny!

Who's this Christie and why shoudl we care if she reads here or not. Anyway...
It has been some time since I have had east coast custard. I recall it was good.

cold stone creamery is pretty good, if you can get past the highschooler mashing your ice cream with paddles on a frozen chunk of marble and the exorbitant prices
